Thanksgiving Brunch

Aiden's preschool held a Thanksgiving brunch to give the kids a chance to say Thank You to us.  I had asked Aide. What they were going to do and wouldn't you know that he would be the one kid who is able to keep a secret...
When we arrived at the school we had to wait outside the classroom for our little Indian to escort us in...
Once in the classroom, we were led to our seats which were decorated for the occasion...
Once all the parents were settled, the entire class stood and said the pledge of allegiance and then they each spoke about what they were Thankful for
I was so proud of Aiden for actually speaking in front of all of the parents :-). It was only last year that Aiden would cling to my leg everyday and bury his head when in a crowd...my eyes welled up when he stood their with confidence and poise to announce what he was Thankful for...unfortunately I didn't make the list haha but I know he cherishes me!
Next they sang a couple of cute songs and then we had a sweet little snack...
After the snack we socialized for a bit and then received the sweetest gift...the teachers had put together a scrapbook for each kid with drawings, pictures of them during school, what they were Thankful for and a sample of their writing.  It was incredibly thoughtful.
We, of course had to see how tall Aiden was...
It's always fun to see the things that the children work on at school!  They certainly put a lot of work into the parents brunch and it was such a great event!  Next up...Christmas program!
